World Scientific Congress of Golf

On the 5th– 7th September 2014 Mitchell Delahay from our Penrith rooms attended the 7th World Scientific Golf Congress on the Gold Coast. This was first time that this golf-specific international conference was held in the Australasian region. It was an exciting opportunity for Mitchell, a keen golf enthusiast to attended presentations and workshops by world class Golf researchers, health professionals and PGA golf coaches.

Update from the Commonwealth Games

The last few days have been action packed with the Commonwealth Games now in full swing. The Medical Headquarters Team, which I am a part of,  were fortunate to be able to march in the opening ceremony. This was a truly amazing experience and an absolute honour and privilege.
There have been so many amazing experiences already at these games and it’s only day 5 with many more to come.

“I arrived in the Commonwealth Games village as part of the Australian Headquarters Medical team on Sunday. This is a team of 5 Sports Physicians, 6 Physiotherapists and 6 Soft Tissue Therapists. Our medical headquarters is situated in the courtyard and is surrounded by the Australian teams living quarters.

I’m really looking forward to the next few days as the remaining Australian team athletes are due to arrive”.

We wish Paula all the best and look forward to hearing more about her experiences at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
