Partner John Breckenridge travelled to Buenos Aires Argentina to present part of his PhD research entitled “Does upper limb pain affect performance of the LRJT” at the 10th Congress of the International Frderation of Societies of Hand Therapy. The congress is held every three years in conjunction with the hand surgeons and is considered the Olympics of Hand therapy and surgery. Well done JB!

At the recent International Congress of Shoulder & Elbow Therapists in Jeju, Korea our Principal Physiotherapist John Breckenridge enjoyed dressing in the traditional Korean dress and definitely looked the part. Well done JB.

There was great interest his study on The Shoulder Left/Right Judgement Task: Shoulder Pain & Motor Imagery Performance. John Breckenridge, Principal Physiotherapist at our group presented at the World Confederation for Physical Therapy Congress in Singapore (1-4 May, 2015), attended by 3600 professionals from around the world.
John Breckenridge, from our practice, along with Dr Andrew Hirschhorn and John Lockhart have had a research article published in the BioMed Central. The article looks at innovative methods of recording patient upper limb ROM outside of the clinic environment and potential wearable accelerometer-based physical activity monitors.
