More than one in three people aged 65 or over fall at least once a year. Patient falls are the most common reported adverse events for hospitalised patients. Our physiotherapy team at Westmead Private Hospital were on hand on Friday to help education staff on how to reduce the risk of falls for patients at an ”April Falls Awareness Day” morning tea for staff, patients and doctors.
