Paula Peralta (Principal Physiotherapist in our Penrith rooms) has arrived in the Commonwealth Games Village on the Gold Coast and has joined The Australian Commonwealth Games Team Medical Team . Whilst it is still some days before competition starts some of the smaller teams have started arriving including the Australian boxing and weightlifting teams.
Netball arrived briefly before departing for a training camp today and men and women’s hockey arrive today. Over the next two days most of the Australian athletes will arrive.
Many countries have already arrived into the village environment and the vibe is building.
Paula will be working with predominantly boxing and table tennis across the Games and we look forward to her updates.
