Commonwealth Youth Games

Paula Peralta, Physiotherapist from our Penrith Practice, has been in Singapore with the Australian Commonwealth Youth Games team for the past week.

Paula has been working predominantly with the track and field team who have had an incredibly successful week in hot and humid conditions.

Competition in Samoa wraps up tomorrow with Australia competing for gold in both women’s and men’s rugby sevens.

Australia currently sits behind England on the medal tally with 23 gold, 18 silver and 19 bronze medals.

The Practice is proud of the work we do with elite sporting teams.

Australian Diamonds at Netball World Cup

It has been a huge week for the Australian Netball Diamonds retaining the number one world ranking defeating the New Zealand Silverferns by three yesterday.

This week brought back many memories for practice principal Sean Mungovan who was the Diamonds Physiotherapist four years ago in Singapore.

Paula Peralta has worked with the Diamonds in 2015 and couldn’t be happier to have played a part in this team.

It has also been a huge week for Nathanial Harnett who was one of a few volunteer Physiotherapists covering the Netball World Cup.
