U/19 Women’s Softball NSW State Team

Nathanial (from our Penrith rooms) has just returned after spending a week away with the U/19 Women’s Softball NSW state team competing in the National championship held in Queensland. The team were successful going through the week undefeated and bringing home the Elinor Mckenzie Shield. They scored a staggering 93 runs for with only 3 against in the rounds, won MVP, Pitcher and Batter of the final as well as getting 4 players into the All Stars team.

Nathanial thoroughly enjoyed his time working with the team. “It was an awesome opportunity to work with some of Australia’s best Softballers of their age. The management team was fantastic to work with as well, they really understood the need and load of every player and how to best manage them throughout the week. The end result was out of this world, to go through not only undefeated, wining the shield but to have such a staggering for and against record just shows the talent of the players and the staff.”

Australian Diamonds Physiotherapist

Paula Peralta from our Penrith rooms has just returned from touring with the Australian Diamonds netball team for the first half of the Constellation Cup series. Paula has been working alongside Diamonds Lead Physiotherapist Alanna Antcliff this year in what has been a hectic year for the team.

Paula covered the NZ leg of the Constellation Cup series with two wins in Christchurch and Auckland. Unfortunately the Diamonds lost a close game yesterday in Melbourne to the Silver Ferns, which means the remaining Perth game will decide the winner of the 2015 Constellation Cup series.

The Diamonds have taken the opportunity to debut a number of athletes in the Constellation Cup series. Get behind the Diamonds and support them live on OneHD on Friday evening for the decider!!  Go Diamonds!!
